PT Retail Specialist
Do you love chocolate, creativity, and customer service? We’re looking for a Retail Specialist to join our local, handcrafted chocolate shop team. We specialize in custom chocolates, candy, ice cream, gifts and favors, birthday parties, and catering. We are looking for someone who brings care, thoughtfulness, and positive energy to their work.
We’re looking for someone who thinks like a team leader: proactive, reliable, organized, and eager to create a great customer experience.
Responsibilities:
Greet customers warmly and help them select their personalized choice of chocolates, gifts, and treats.
Serve customers at the ice cream counter
Operate the Point-of-Sale system (training provided)
Restock shelves, assist with store cleanliness, and manage inventory areas
Help with packaging, labeling, gift wrapping, and visual merchandising
Create and organize trays in a clean, presentable way
Assist with party prep, event support, and occasional catering orders
Maintain a clean and welcoming environment
Be a team player and contribute creatively to the store’s vibe and presentation
You’re a Great Fit If You:
Have previous retail experience
Are friendly, responsible, and able to take initiative
Enjoy working in a small team where every role matters
Are comfortable working holidays and during busy seasons
Are open to training but also confident using good judgment
Appreciate fun, creativity, and an attention to detail
Can lift up to 25lbs and stand on your feet for extended periods of time
Growth Potential:
While this isn’t a management role, we’re looking for someone who brings a sincere level of care and autonomy. Over time, there is potential for growth in hours, leadership, and compensation for the right candidate who is interested but this is not required.

The Sweet Trading Company is a handcrafted Chocolate and Confectionary shop located in Narberth, Pa. We are closed on Saturdays and Mondays. This position does not require weekend hours but Sunday availability(either ongoing or occasionally) would be considered a bonus. Our store is certified Kosher, and while applicants need not keep nor have any experience with this-you must be willing to respect and support the guidelines associated with this certification.
PT Chocolatier, Narberth
The Sweet Trading Company, a Chocolate Shop in Narberth, Pa is looking to hire a Chocolatier to work 15-20 hours a week. (Opportunity for additional hours/growth available). Work will consist of assisting in the production of our handcrafted chocolates and other confections, prep work, packaging, learning proper use of equipment, cleaning supplies/workspace, and related work tasks.
Ideal candidate:
Our ideal candidate is looking to be part of a team, reliable, fun and creative, has chocolate making experience or is willing to learn, open minded, willing to follow directions, and has food service experience. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods of time. We will train. Responsibilities
Create and design an array of chocolate confections,
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely production and delivery of products.
Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with product selections and answering inquiries.
Assist in inventory management by tracking ingredients and supplies for production.
Participate in catering events as required
Previous experience in the pastry or food industry is preferred.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with clients.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
Excellent attention to detail and creativity in product presentation.

Birthday Party Leader/Supervisor
Do you enjoy working with children and have a creative nature and interest in food? Our Birthday Party Supervisors run our unique and fun Birthday Party Experiences for groups of 10-20 children.
Who are you?
2+ years of experience working in a classroom/camp environment
Love all things crafting and baking and sharing that love with our birthday party attendees
Great communications skills, written and verbal.
Commitment to providing excellent customer service, engagement with kids and attendees, and an unparalleled level of professionalism.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule and available to work Weekends
Outgoing and positive attitude and an enjoyment of engaging with kids and adults.
Have appropriate state clearances or ability to obtain them prior to start of employment
Responsibilities
Follow operational guide to each party with specificity
Make sure all supplies are prepared and ready for parties
Set up and clean up of all party materials
Making sure party supplies are stocked and ready for next party(and notifying manager if not)
Make sure kids attending feel welcome and included
Provide management with any necessary details for follow up
Run party from start to finish with guests leaving feeling great
Ability to lift 50lbs and work standing for extended periods of time
